H.A.T. COMPLETES A BUSY 2009
The past year was a very busy year for Dysart’s Hospitality
and Tour Team. The
group welcomed approximately 1590 folks who came to shop, visit,
enjoy tours, and the great food in Dysart’s restaurants and tea
room. The H.A.T. team
is sponsored by the Dysart Development Corporation
During the summer, fourteen tours of Dysart’s City landscaped
areas and residents’ gardens were enjoyed by visiting groups.
The groups ranged in size from eight to forty participants.
There were also ten Holiday Home
In addition to greeting visitors and conducting tours, the
H.A.T. Team participated in a number of other activities.
The activities in the
The 2010 year also promises to be a great year for Dysart and
the H.A.T. Team. As of
January 18th, there are seven large bus tours coming
during the spring and summer, and a number of smaller tour groups
are also scheduled.
Any community resident who has a group of friends or
relatives coming to Dysart and would appreciate a special Dysart
welcome from the H.A.T. Team should call a Team member.
The Team’s objectives are to extend a friendly welcome to our
visitors from near and far and to promote our local businesses.
