Established in Traer in 1956,the Calvary Baptist Church moved from Traer to Dysart in 1975. In August, 2009, Calvary Baptist called Daniel Hartwig, a recent graduate of Faith Baptist Bible College & Theological Seminary to be their pastor. Calvary Baptist is a distinctively Baptist church which holds to the fundamental teachings of the Bible and preaches the good news of Jesus Christ. We invite anyone interested in studying the Bible and worshiping God to attend.

On Sunday, March 14, 1971, the Dysart congregations of Grace United Methodist Church and Trinity United Methodist Church, formerly the Evangelical United Brethren Church, voted to become the Dysart United Methodist Church. the church has a strong music department, an active United Methodist Women's group with five circles, a very active and growing youth program, organized service groups, a growing Sunday school program, and a men's Bible group.

Chancel Choir: 7:00 p.m. Wednesdays (September through May)

Junior Choir: after school Wednesdays (September through May)

Men's Bible Study: 7 a.m. at The Gathering Place (1st Saturday of each month)

Women's Circles: each circle meets each month at different times

Prayer Group: Monday nights at 7 p.m.

Youth Group: many activities planned throughout the year

Zion Lutheran Church

Zion Lutheran began its history with the dedication of its first church in 1895. The new church was dedicated July, 1961. The bell tower addition was dedicated in 1979. There are three active women's circles, a men's breakfast group, church choir, a youth group, adult and youth Sunday school, two quilting groups, and a prayer circle.

The Dysart Assembly of God Church was started in May, 1983. It is a full gospel, Pentecostal church with its roots reaching back to the Holy Spirit revival that began in the late 1800's. Members believe Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We welcome everyone to come and worship with us.
