Club Dysart

Club Dysart was organized a number of years ago to plan the 4th of July. It has been called by several names, but most recently Club Dysart.
Some of the fundraisers which contribute to providing the much-heralded 4th of July fireworks display are:
Little Knights Wrestling Tournament (January)
Bartending Services at the Community Building
The Omelet Breakfast (2nd Sunday in June)

Other events not necessarily contributing financially to the 4th is the Easter Egg Hunt and the Christmas on Main Children's Shop
which provides an inexpensive outlet for kids to buy presents for parents, grandparents, friends and siblings.

Since the firworks and insurance is very expensive, we also rely on many vlunteers outside of Club Dysart to help put together fun events over the 43th of July celebration with the proceeds going into the fund. Some of those include the 4th of July 5K run and games which  may have a small participation fee: i.e. egg toss, free throw contest, the kickball tournament. There is also the 4th of July dinner which follows the parade which helps defray the 4th expenses.
